Pegasus Software has announced that Class Fundraising, a provider of personalised products such as cards, tea towels, mugs and bags for schools, has deployed Opera 3 with Financials, Credit Management and XRL Reporting. Working with IT consultancy Monpellier, Class Fundraising anticipates greater productivity, enhanced cash flow and slicker reporting as a result of using the system.
Set up originally as a textiles printing company, Class Fundraising has expanded substantially, capitalising on a niche sector comprised of schools looking to sell personalised products in order to raise money for school-related causes.
On the back of this expansion, the company required a platform to manage the deluge of sales invoices generated at peak times, and to establish a platform to pursue new opportunities and future growth. Its previous system relied upon a lot of manual input and could not produce monthly sales and P&L reports. With productivity and profitability a greater focus, Class Fundraising selected Opera 3, supported by Pegasus Partner Monpellier. The decision was based on the software’s robust, flexible functionality and ability to support all areas across the business.
“We’d reached the end of the road with our previous system and Opera 3 was the only solution which could support all areas of our business, while scaling and flexing to continue to meet our needs as we pursue our growth strategy,” comments Simon Fulton, Financial Director, Class Fundraising. “We can now import sales invoices directly from our other systems, allowing our accounts department to spend less time manually inputting orders, and more time analysing information and reporting to the business. The fact that the software can automatically email statements, and bring late or overdue accounts to our attention is a huge bonus and has boosted our cash flow through better credit management. The report generation is also great as it allows us to see any information we require in report format,
