Increases speciality in precision engineering and aviation
Access Group is adding to its successful Supply Chain Solutions division with the acquisition of FactoryMaster. Chris Bayne, CEO for Access, said: “We’re already strong in the manufacturing sector with over 800 customers; FactoryMaster adds the additional expertise of its people to our organisation and great software that fills a gap in our product portfolio. This gives us an increased specialism in precision engineering, aerospace and oil & gas.
“By making this acquisition we’re able to offer our customers and prospects a complete end-to-end manufacturing solution no matter what size they are, or the specific requirements they may have. Whether they want a full ERP system, financials integrated with MRP, or manufacturing software, we have the right software to suit,” continued Chris.
FactoryMaster is designed for manufacturing companies which monitors and manages manufacturing activities. Chris continued: “Supply Chain Solutions is a growth sector for us, we’re seeing signs of recovery and improvement in manufacturing. Having FactoryMaster as part of our portfolio will strengthen our offering, and offer opportunity for our customers.”
Nuneaton based FactoryMaster has over 170 customers including; A & G Precision, Amfin, S L Engineering and M B Aerospace.
Graham Scott, MD of FactoryMaster, who joins Access as part of the deal, said: “Becoming part of Access is a huge step forward for us, if gives us the opportunity to share knowledge and expertise to offer some truly get solutions to UK manufacturers.”
FactoryMaster will integrate with Access’ financial solution Access Dimensions offering additional functionality including stock control and resource scheduling, as well as being sold as a standalone entry-level manufacturing offering.
